General Terms and Conditions (AGB)

Thank you for your interest in staying at our campsite.

By reserving a parking space, the tenant agrees to these General Terms and Conditions.

1. Booking

You can make your booking request for a stay with us via online booking.

Booking for young people
Young people between the ages of 16 and 18 who make a booking must present written permission from a parent or guardian on arrival at the campsite. If this permission is not granted, Camping Alphubel is not bound by the contract and is entitled to rent the property reserved by the young person to another party without any compensation.

2. Formation of the contract

2.1 Bookings by telephone, e-mail or letter cannot be accepted.

2.2 Online booking
Your booking via the Internet booking system (online booking) only becomes definitive once availability has been confirmed and the deposit has been paid.

3. Down payment

The deposit is made at the time of booking and will not be refunded in the event of cancellation.

4. Seat request

The camping meadow is not parceled out. Parking space requests cannot be considered. However, the campsite management reserves the right to change an allocation in exceptional cases and to allocate an equivalent replacement. Any change to the parking space does not entitle the customer to a price reduction.

5. Minimum stays and booking windows

Minimum stays

Pitches and chalet: 2 nights

Mattress camps and tent pitches are not subject to a minimum stay

6. Arrival / Departure - Final settlement

6.1 Parking space
The pitch can be occupied from 1 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10 a.m. on the day of departure.

6.2 Final settlement
The camping guest undertakes to pay the final bill by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure at the latest.

7. Late arrival / early departure

8.1 Late arrival or no-show
If the guest has not arrived by 12.00 noon on the day after the planned arrival date (without notification of delay), the booking is deemed to have been canceled.

8.2 Early departure
In the event of early departure, the total amount is payable for the entire duration of the reserved stay, up to a maximum of 3 additional days.

8. Bookings for groups

Stays for groups (from 15 persons) cannot be booked online. These booking requests should be sent directly to the campsite, preferably in writing by e-mail or letter. Special cancellation conditions may apply for groups. Groups of young people (under the age of 18) must always be accompanied by an adult.

9. discounts and reductions

No discounts and reductions (ASCI, TCS, etc.) can be claimed when staying at Camping Alphubel.

10. Cancellation

Postponements within the camping season are possible free of charge up to 3 days before arrival. These cannot be postponed to the next season.

The guest has no right to a refund of the deposit in the event of cancellation.

Cancellation must be communicated to Camping Alphubel in writing (by e-mail or letter).

We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance (e.g. ETI cover).

11. Pets

Pets are allowed in principle, but a maximum of two pets per pitch.

Owners must ensure that their pets do not disturb other guests and do not soil the area or facilities. Pets are not allowed in the sanitary facilities or in the other rooms. They may not be left unattended or locked up on the pitch. Dogs and cats must be kept on a leash at all times. (Exception: guide dogs and assistance dogs for disabled persons)

12. Data protection

Your booking data will also be processed as follows:

12.1 Your booking data (e.g. title, first name, surname, date of birth, nationality, language, e-mail address, mobile telephone number, postal address, number of persons, date of arrival, date of departure, overnight stays and any visitor's tax exemption) will be forwarded to Bonfire AG and Zermatt Tourism (either by us or via our electronic booking system).

12.2 Your booking data is recorded in a central database by Bonfire AG and/or Zermatt Tourism. If accommodation providers participate in Zermatt Tourism's email marketing, the guest data is also stored by the third-party provider "Salesforce" and used in the context of the business relationship between the accommodation provider and the guest.

12.3 Your booking data will only be processed in Switzerland and the EU.

12.4 On this basis, Zermatt Tourism shall invoice the tourist tax owed and collect the corresponding amount from the service partners.

12.5 Zermatt Tourism also reports to the Federal Statistical Office.

12.6 Bonfire AG and Zermatt Tourism grant the police access to the database with booking data so that the police can, for example, retrieve the relevant booking data in the event of missing persons.

12.7 Zermatt Tourism uses the booking data to collect statistics (in particular regarding occupancy, length of stay, number of arrivals, etc.).

The legal basis for this data processing is the fulfillment of a legal obligation within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR (billing and collection of visitor's tax / reporting to the Federal Statistical Office) or in the protection of a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (granting of access to the police / collection of statistics).

Your booking data will only be used for direct marketing purposes (e.g. sending newsletters) if you have given us your consent to do so.

13. Place of jurisdiction

In the event of legal disputes, the place of jurisdiction is the location of the campsite (CH-3929 Täsch).

These conditions apply from March 1, 2024.
