Regular trains and inexpensive shuttle cabs take you quickly to traffic-free Zermatt, just a 5-minute walk away.
Whether you take advantage of the climbing, skiing and hiking opportunities, enjoy the panoramic views of numerous four-thousand-metre peaks, take a train ride up the Kleinmatterhorn (3884 m above sea level) or sample Valais specialties in cosy inns - your vacation in this unique region will be unforgettable.
For a change of pace, the small towns of Visp, Brig (Brigerbad) and Leukerbad invite you to go shopping or swimming.
